On Dublin Street

On Dublin StreetOn Dublin Street by Samantha Young

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I gave this book 5 stars despite the few editorial errors because the story was captivating. I read the entire book in one night and couldn't put it down! I was touched by Joss' story and I felt a true connection to her and Ellie and even Braden. For those of you who want a summary more than that that is given here goes.
Joss is a girl touched by tragedy early in life and it leaves her damaged and keeping everything locked up tight inside herself. Anytime anything in her life becomes too hard to handle she locks it away and chooses not to deal with it at all. The story begins after Joss has graduated from college and is seeking a flat to rent. It is important to her to have a flat mate to inspire her writing by being involved socially. Enter Ellie and her sexy brother Braden along with a host of their own drama filled friends and family.
Braden and Joss enter into a tenuous relationship that is chock full of hot hot hot! Anyway, I wont give anything away. This story is about the healing power of love and friendship and I'm sure that if you give this book a chance and ignore some of the small errors in the writing, you will be just as moved by it as I was.
